The New York startup Birch Hill closed a $4 million seed round led by Multicoin Capital, with ParaFi Capital, Castle Island Ventures and Nascent participating. Its goal is to tokenize and securitize multifamily, agricultural and energy-related loans on public blockchains. Its first product, the Birch Hill RWA USDC Vault, operates on Base using Morpho’s lending infrastructure and Yearn v3 vault standards. Borrowers deposit GRO tokens tied to GromaREIT, a US multifamily real estate investment trust, while access is restricted to accredited investors. Birch Hill had previously raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed round co-led by ParaFi Capital and Castle Island Ventures.
