Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, is considering expanding stock trading to Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Brazil, co-CEO Richard Teng announced at TOKEN2049 in Singapore. Users have specifically requested exposure to the top 10 stocks in each of these four markets, according to the executive. The platform launched direct trading for over 7,000 US stocks and ETFs in June 2026, alongside bStocks, a tokenized equities product on BNB Chain. By September 2026, the global on-chain value of tokenized stocks exceeded $3 billion, with approximately $1 billion on BNB Chain across 1.8 million holders. Teng described this strategy as “weatherproofing” to reduce Binance’s dependence on any single market.
