Binance has launched a peer-to-peer merchant referral campaign targeting around 20 African markets, including Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and several West and Central African countries. From October 8 through November 7, both referrers and qualifying new merchants each receive 50 USDT provided the new merchant completes at least 10 trades with 10 different counterparties and reaches a cumulative volume of at least 10,000 USDT within 30 days of registration. This campaign prioritizes building active liquidity on the supply side of the P2P network rather than simply generating sign-ups. For Binance, each verified merchant adds payment options, tighter spreads and greater capacity to serve users looking to exchange local currencies for cryptocurrency.
