A wallet linked to the hack of Binance’s hot wallet deposited 8,567 SOL, worth approximately $798,000, into Privacy Cash, a transaction mixer on the Solana blockchain. Onchain Lens flagged the transfer on November 3 and believes it was intended to launder funds stolen in the October 29 hack. The move appears to be part of a broader laundering operation, as the analytics account is tracking other addresses showing mixer activity. The hack resulted in approximately $6.3 billion in assets being stolen across several blockchains, an incident the FBI attributed to the North Korea-linked TraderTraitor group. The amount transferred is too small to meaningfully affect the SOL market, but it indicates that the attacker’s concealment strategy remains active.
