Binance Hack: $2 Billion Drained, Circle and Tether Freeze, Crypto Markets React

Binance confirmed a major security incident in which more than $2 billion was drained across several wallets. The focus was on an Ethereum address that appeared to hold more than $2.3 billion in tokens. Screenshots from Etherscan reviewed by BeInCrypto show that the address received 28,005.6 ETH. Circle and Tether quickly froze the majority of the funds, while crypto markets reacted to the incident.
