Binance’s Android app has become unavailable on the Google Play Store in certain European Union countries amid questions over compliance with the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. A user in Spain confirmed the app was no longer visible in search results, while it remained accessible in Poland. Reports emerged last week that the app had disappeared from Google Play in Europe, with the CEO of OKX Europe attributing the removal to MiCA licensing requirements. Binance had withdrawn its MiCA license application in Greece shortly before the transition period ended on July 1, before notifying some European users that access to certain services would be restricted.
