Arsenal have completed the signing of defender Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa for up to £55 million, comprising a base fee of £51 million plus £4 million in potential add-ons. The 28-year-old England international, with 28 caps, has signed a four-year contract with an option for a fifth year. Konsa made 48 appearances last season during Villa’s Europa League triumph and started seven matches at the 2026 World Cup as England reached the semi-finals. Konsa could make his debut on August 31, 2026, when Arsenal face his former club Aston Villa.
