Applied Materials posts record $9.12 billion quarter as AI chip demand surges

Applied Materials posted record revenue of $9.12 billion in fiscal Q3 2026, up 25% year over year. The semiconductor systems segment reached $7.04 billion, driven by demand in advanced logic, DRAM and advanced packaging, which is expected to grow over 70% in 2026. Non-GAAP earnings per share hit $3.50, up 41%. For the fourth quarter, the company expects revenue of approximately $10.25 billion. China accounts for 26 to 28% of the company’s revenue.
