Apple will build a new Mac mini manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas, marking the first time this product line will be assembled in the United States. The Houston campus will double in size and is expected to begin Mac mini production in late 2026, while also expanding AI server manufacturing capacity. Apple is committing to purchase over 100 million chips from TSMC’s Arizona facility in 2026. The company is also constructing a 20,000-square-foot Advanced Manufacturing Center to train its workforce. This project, part of Apple’s broader $600 billion US investment commitment, is expected to create thousands of new jobs, with Texas already hosting Mac Pro assembly operations.
