Apple on Monday released iOS 27, a new version of iPhone software featuring a redesigned Siri AI assistant. The new iPhone 18 models, hitting store shelves this week, are positioned as ideal for artificial intelligence due to their speedy chips and the personal data stored on them. New CEO John Ternus, in position since September 1, presented the new features at the launch event. The assistant is available in English now, with French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish support coming next month, but won’t initially launch in the EU or China due to regulatory reasons.
