Anthropic’s IPO filing puts TSMC and HBM suppliers at the center of its risk story

Share

Anthropic filed a Form S-1 registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission seeking a Nasdaq listing under the ticker ANT. The document identifies TSMC as its leading advanced-chip supplier and SK hynix, Samsung Electronics and Micron Technology as key suppliers of high-bandwidth memory. The company has entered non-cancelable compute agreements estimated at more than $600 billion with Broadcom, Google and Amazon, while its revenue is projected to rise from $386 million in 2024 to approximately $4.585 billion in 2025. Investors therefore face a company combining exceptional growth with major dependence on a small group of Asian manufacturers and substantial fixed costs. The IPO is expected to value Anthropic between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion, although the proposed share count and price range have not yet been disclosed.
