Anthropic filed on Monday to go public on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ANT. The Claude AI maker will have Class F shares representing 50.1% of the voting power on matters submitted to shareholders. That share will be owned by Founder LLC, whose seven members are Dario Amodei, Daniela Amodei, Tom Brown, Jack Clark, Jared Kaplan, Sam McCandlish and Christopher Olah. Because a majority of the seven members decides, any four of them can control the vote, while public shareholders will have one vote per share but no ability to change the outcome. Benjamin Mann, who is often described as a co-founder, is not a member of Founder LLC and therefore has no participation in Anthropic’s 50.1% voting power.
