Anthropic, the company behind Claude, filed a draft registration with the SEC on June 1, 2026, targeting a Nasdaq listing. Current projections suggest the company could raise over $86 billion, surpassing SpaceX’s $75 billion IPO record and valuing Anthropic at up to $2 trillion. The firm’s most recent private funding round in May 2026 raised $65 billion at a $965 billion valuation, making it the world’s most valuable AI company before going public. Annual revenue run-rate grew from $9 billion at the end of 2025 to a projected $47 to $65 billion by mid-to-late 2026, with estimates reaching $100 to $120 billion by year-end. Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan Chase are slated as underwriters, with existing investors and employees potentially permitted to sell shares at listing.
