Anthropic plans to grant supervoting shares to CEO Dario Amodei and his co-founders to shield leadership from public market pressure. The company filed a confidential S-1 with the SEC in June and its latest funding round valued it at $965 billion. Its revenue run rate hit $65 billion by late July, surpassing OpenAI by roughly $25 billion. Unlike SpaceX where Elon Musk concentrates control, Anthropic will spread these voting rights across multiple co-founders and maintains an independent watchdog, the Long-Term Benefit Trust, whose trustees include former Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke.
