Consulting giant Accenture and AI lab Anthropic announced on December 9, 2025 a major expansion of their partnership, forming the Accenture Anthropic Business Group with a one billion dollar commitment over five years to develop enterprise AI solutions. Approximately 30,000 Accenture employees will be trained on Claude and tens of thousands of developers will gain access to Claude Code tools. Target industries include financial services, healthcare, life sciences, and the public sector. Anthropic holds 40% of the overall enterprise market share, with a particularly strong 54% in coding. Accenture has also maintained a parallel partnership with OpenAI, positioning itself across the two leading AI labs.
