Non-custodial wallet Ctrl Wallet will cease sending, receiving, swaps and dApp connections on August 3, with full functionality available only through August 2. Users must export their 12- or 24-word recovery phrase to a compatible wallet or transfer their assets before the cutoff to avoid losing access. The app, which claims support from over 600,000 users across more than 2,500 blockchains, provides no timezone or exact cutoff hour, making the August 2 deadline the safest option. Ctrl warns that no official migration token, compensation airdrop or refund exists, and any request for the recovery phrase is a scam.
