AMD is due to report fiscal third-quarter 2026 results on November 3, with revenue expected at around $13.08 billion, as data-center financing strains and uncertainty around Anthropic’s IPO weigh on the AI sector. In the second quarter, the company generated $11.54 billion in revenue, up 50% year over year, and $2.3 billion in net income, driven by $6.7 billion in Data Center revenue. Bond yields for a lender tied to AI infrastructure reached 15%, with the corresponding credit default swap spreads nearly doubling in October, while IREN shares fell more than 60% over the past year. Unlike infrastructure operators that rely heavily on debt-funded data-center construction, AMD sells the hardware, but higher borrowing costs could eventually slow server deployments and reduce orders for EPYC processors and Instinct GPUs.
