Altcoins now account for more than 60% of trading volume on Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, according to an analysis by CryptoQuant. Bitcoin represents only 22% of volume, while Ethereum sits at 18%. This level of altcoin dominance on Binance had not been reached since early 2025, indicating a broad rotation across the entire altcoin category. For every $10 traded on the platform, more than $6 goes to assets other than Bitcoin or Ethereum. This trend, which affects the overall altcoin market rather than a single token, could signal broader market participation if it continues.
