Palantir Just Crushed Wall Street by $125 Million: How Will Stock React?

Palantir Technologies beat all Wall Street estimates in the second quarter and raised its full-year outlook. The data analytics company reported revenue of $1.94 billion, up 93% year over year, while adjusted earnings per share reached 41 cents versus the roughly 35 cents analysts expected. Shares surged more than 7% in after-hours trading to $135.12, though the stock remains well below its 12-month high of $207.52. U.S. commercial revenue jumped 149% to $764 million, and management now guides for full-year revenue of $8.150 to $8.158 billion, representing approximately 82% growth. CEO Alex Karp attributed the performance to what he called surging demand for AI sovereignty, as customers seek greater control over their data and operational decisions.
