Anthropic filed its S-1 form on Monday, October 26, ahead of a Nasdaq listing under the ANT ticker, which is still targeted for November. Cathedral, a startup founded by four former DOGE members, says its AI agents found vulnerabilities in less than 12 hours that gave access to meeting transcripts, salary data, job postings and Slack messages. Anthropic acknowledges limited access to sales, human resources and IT systems, but says user conversations, source code and model weights were not affected. The Federal Trade Commission is simultaneously seeking testimony from Anthropic executives in its investigation into AI risks to consumers. Despite these setbacks, the company could raise up to $100 billion in its IPO, while reporting $80.7 billion in losses for the first half of 2026.
