Aero aims to consolidate spot liquidity for tokenized assets and become the leading blockchain-based exchange for tokenized stocks and other financial assets. Launched across seven networks, the platform brings Aerodrome and Velodrome together under a single AERO token and a unified liquidity incentive system. According to Alex Cutler, cofounder and CEO of Dromos Labs, Aerodrome captured 55% of tokenized stock trading volume across Ethereum and its layer 2 networks, compared with about 2% in early September. Together, the networks handled approximately $120 billion in monthly decentralized exchange trading volume, while Aerodrome and Velodrome distributed $578 million to token holders. Aero targets at least doubling its share of onchain spot trading volume by the end of the year.
