UK broker Adrian Flux and Tokio Marine HCC International have launched the first UK home insurance policy designed for domestic humanoid robots. It covers damage to and theft of the robot, as well as damage it may cause to the home, belongings and people, while including emergency shutdown and recovery coverage. The product arrives ahead of humanoid robots entering British homes, expected from 2027, while early consumer models can already be pre-ordered in the US for approximately $20,000.
