Anthropic launched a beta version of Claude Personal Finance on Thursday, allowing US subscribers to connect bank and credit card accounts through Plaid. Claude receives read-only access to balances, credit limits and up to two years of transaction history without obtaining banking credentials. The tool can analyze spending, flag unusual fees and duplicate charges, identify recurring payments and track upcoming bills. Initially available to Pro, Max and Ultra subscribers, the feature also supports spending charts, payment calendars and financial dashboards, while conversations in its dedicated hub are excluded from model training.
