Huawei introduced the Qingyun HM650, a fully domestically made desktop equipped with the HarmonyOS V1.0 operating system and without Intel, Qualcomm or Windows. Its Kirin X90 chip combines a 10-core central processing unit with a Maleoon 910 graphics processor, and Huawei claims that integrating its own hardware and software improves overall system performance by 15%. The HM650 and HM650G versions target enterprise and government customers, respectively, with security and management features tailored to the finance and energy sectors. Sold exclusively through commercial channels, they benefit from an ecosystem of more than 21,000 compatible applications, while HarmonyOS PCs have surpassed one million units shipped during their first year.
