Strategy’s preferred stock STRC briefly returned to the $100 threshold for the first time since May before closing at $99.98. This level corresponds to its par value and could allow Michael Saylor’s company to resume issuing securities to fund additional Bitcoin purchases, although it does not guarantee an immediate restart. Strategy has already spent approximately $2.25 billion repurchasing its own shares and retains a capacity to issue $17.51 billion worth of STRC. Between October 26 and November 1, the company bought 811 bitcoins for $65.5 million, bringing its holdings to 849,327 BTC, with the purchases funded by the sale of MSTR common shares. The possible exclusion of Strategy from MSCI indices starting November 30 nevertheless remains a source of uncertainty.
