Prediction markets priced a Democratic sweep of both chambers as the most likely outcome on November 1, at 71% on Kalshi and 72% on Polymarket. Crypto Briefing Research mapped four possible scenarios for AI stocks, semiconductors, Bitcoin and altcoins, while noting that the election does not determine market direction by itself. Before the vote, the semiconductor index fell 7.2%, the S&P 500 declined 1.8% and the Nasdaq lost 2.9%, while Bitcoin closed October 31 at $77,435, down 4.2% over four days following the $6.3 billion Binance breach. A Bitcoin rally does not guarantee a broad altcoin rally, as mega-cap AI companies, smaller chip suppliers, Bitcoin and less liquid tokens may move in different directions. The post-election monitoring will focus on deviations from November 1 expectations, Treasury yields, ETF flows, AI spending and broader altcoin participation.
