CrowdStrike has agreed to acquire two companies specializing in artificial intelligence security, Fiddler AI and Dreadnode, for a combined reported total of $495 million. Fiddler AI, founded in 2018 and valued at approximately $400 million, will be integrated into the Falcon Observe platform to monitor and explain the behavior of AI agents. Dreadnode, founded in 2023 and valued at about $95 million, will bring pre-deployment security testing capabilities. The acquisitions, funded predominantly in cash with some stock components, are expected to close in CrowdStrike’s fourth quarter of fiscal 2027.
