WalletConnect announced on October 29 that WalletConnect Pay now supports Stellar, with LOBSTR described as the first live Stellar wallet. Separately, WalletConnect and Penrose Partners are preparing a payment rollout for the Bermuda ticketing platform PTIX, targeted for the second quarter of 2027. The integration is designed to let customers pay for tickets with compatible wallets and send funds directly to the event organizer without the ticketing platform holding customer funds. However, the system will need to handle refunds, disputed orders, asset conversion and accounting reconciliation. Success will depend on customers completing ticket purchases, organizers receiving the expected funds and users returning to the payment option.
