Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan hosted OpenAI CEO Sam Altman on November 2, 2026, witnessing the signing of four agreements. The deals bring OpenAI together with Abu Dhabi-based entities and place a local subsidiary at the center of the collaboration, including investment analysis and energy operations.
