Ambire presents Ice, a hardware wallet designed to decode Safe transactions and warn signers about sensitive configuration changes. Its screen can display transfers, token approvals, transaction batches, owner changes, signature thresholds and Safe modules. These alerts aim to show that an operation may alter future account control without immediately transferring tokens. The manufacturer says the hardware and firmware are open source and that signing can be performed through USB, Bluetooth or a QR code. The announcement establishes a design direction but does not provide independent validation of transaction decoding or the product’s overall security.
