Lighter (LIT) gained 16% over two days, climbing from around $2.50 to $3.18 as its market capitalization reached nearly $800 million. The rally followed the announcement of a planned November filing with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to seek Designated Contract Market and Derivatives Clearing Organization licenses. The filing would only initiate a process that could extend into summer 2027, with approval remaining uncertain. A major holder withdrew 1.15 million LIT worth $3.31 million, while the spot net flow turned negative at approximately $1.2 million, supporting the recovery, although the Relative Strength Index remains at 47 and the MACD line stays below zero. Holding above $3 could open the way to $3.50 and then $3.90, while a failure at that level could expose LIT to a decline toward $2.70.
