Binance has progressively reopened withdrawals after suspending its services following a massive cryptocurrency theft valued at $6.3 billion. Bitcoin was the first network to resume withdrawal operations on November 1, after several days of security assessments. The initial phase covers Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, and XRP Ledger, with assets including BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, XRP, DOGE, ZEC, USDT, and USDC. The exchange says it has covered approximately 95% of the stolen assets using its own resources, while the remaining 5% consists mainly of less-liquid tokens. The FBI has attributed the attack to the North Korea-linked group TraderTraitor, as withdrawals continue to reopen gradually and temporary delays remain possible.
