Binance will progressively resume cryptocurrency withdrawals between 06:00 and 09:00 UTC after suspending them following a massive security breach involving $6.3 billion. The first phase will cover 15 blockchain networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP Ledger, BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Tron and Dogecoin, along with the Tether and USD Coin stablecoins. The exchange said it selected these assets based on withdrawal demand over the past week, but did not guarantee that all of them would be enabled simultaneously. Binance said it has recovered around 95% of the stolen assets, up from 90% in its previous update, and has fully backed user balances in several cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. The remaining 5% consists mainly of less liquid assets that are harder to buy in large quantities.
