MARA Holdings shares fell 8.23% to $6.58 during the October 30 session and touched a low of $6.44, their weakest level since 2023. The stock has lost more than half its value after approaching $14 in September. Bitcoin was also trading lower, near $76,714, following its retreat from around $87,000 in September and early October. A 0.78 positive correlation between MARA’s and Bitcoin’s daily closing prices over 20 periods highlights the close relationship between the two assets. Coming closes will determine whether buyers can stem the decline, as a sustained recovery in the stock would require a move back above $7.
