A wallet linked to the Binance hack transferred 120 million TRX to an unknown address, according to Whale Alert. On October 29, 2026, attackers reportedly drained about $6.3 billion in digital assets from the exchange’s hot wallets, including 612.7 million USDT and 46.4 million TRX on Tron. They swapped roughly 234 million USDT for an estimated 638 million TRX through SunSwap to convert the funds into assets that are harder to freeze. Tether and Circle froze between $2.7 billion and $3 billion in stablecoins, while significant amounts of the stolen TRX remain under the attackers’ control. Binance suspended withdrawals from affected wallets, said it would cover customer losses and set aside more than $6.34 billion of company funds.
