Amazon disclosed a financing facility worth up to $80 billion on October 30, 2026, designed to give its third-party sellers and vendors greater access to capital. The arrangement is intended to support the expansion of data centers, chips and cloud capacity needed for its artificial intelligence activities. The company already raised approximately $80 billion to $92 billion from external sources in 2026, including a $17.5 billion delayed-draw term loan led by Citigroup and a C$14 billion bond sale. Its projected capital expenditures for 2026 are $200 billion to $220 billion, while total debt could exceed $225 billion. Amazon also invested about $18 billion in Anthropic and has more than $110 billion in committed AWS spending running through 2036.
