Bitcoin is trading near $77,000 after briefly falling below the $80,000 threshold that had held during much of its recent consolidation. It has surrendered more than one-third of its value since reaching an October 2025 peak above $126,000, following a 350% two-year advance. Persistent U.S. inflation, which stood at 3.7% in late 2025, and 10-year Treasury yields near 5% are weighing on demand for risk assets. Stablecoin inflows on Ethereum have fallen from about $158 billion in August 2025 to $76 billion, while spot Bitcoin ETF outflows exceeded $600 million on some days. Investors are watching the $74,500 to $76,300 zone, corresponding to the April 2025 low, along with ETF and stablecoin flows.
