Anthropic perps drop 7% after public listing filing

Share

Pre-IPO perpetual futures tracking Anthropic fell about 7% in 24 hours after the AI company filed its S-1 registration statement with the SEC on October 26, 2026. Anthropic reported first-half revenue of $16.3 billion and a net loss of $80.7 billion, primarily resulting from accounting adjustments on convertible notes. The company is positioning for a potential Nasdaq listing under the ticker ANT as early as mid-November 2026, although no date is confirmed. Trading between roughly $1,500 and $1,900 implies a valuation of $1.7 trillion to $2 trillion, while Coinbase said the eventual IPO price could differ from derivative prices by around 25% in either direction.
