The XRP Ledger Foundation added Flare Networks to its recommended validator list, praising the project’s alignment with the XRPL’s core values, its participation in governance and its contributions to the broader ecosystem. It removed Anodos Finance at the project’s request, ahead of the planned shutdown of its validator by the end of October. Following these changes, the Foundation’s and Ripple’s recommended lists contain 35 matching validator keys. Flare is developing services including FXRP, which uses the FAssets system to bring XRP onto Flare, and Flare Smart Accounts, which lets users access applications through XRPL wallets without transferring custody of their assets to a third party. However, joining the recommended list does not require server operators to change their configurations, and validators receive no direct XRP rewards from the protocol.
