Anthropic, the company behind the Claude models, filed a Form S-1 registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 26, 2026, seeking to list its Class A shares on Nasdaq under the ticker “ANT.” The debut is planned for mid-November, with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley leading the offering, which could rank among the largest IPOs in history. In the first half of 2026, the company generated $16.3 billion in revenue, up 1,258% from a year earlier, but recorded an $80.7 billion net loss that was primarily attributed to non-cash adjustments tied to convertible notes. It nevertheless reported its first operating profit in the second quarter, following a funding round in May that valued it at $965 billion. The multi-class structure gives the seven founders’ Class F shares 50.1% of the voting power, while Amazon and Google’s non-voting Class N shares provide strategic investors with economic exposure without control over major corporate decisions.
