Movantis and the Stellar Development Foundation announced on October 29 that Stellar would become a settlement option within the payments company’s multi-rail network. The initial corridor enables USDC settlement for transfers originating in the United States and bound for recipients in El Salvador. Movantis provides connections to regulated local partners, foreign-exchange conversion when needed, and final payouts, while its existing platform processes more than $60 billion annually across over 200 million transactions and more than 90,000 payout locations. The volume actually settled on Stellar has not been disclosed, and expansion to other markets will depend on end-to-end results, including costs, completion times, and payout success rates.
