The University of Copenhagen confirmed that a cyberattack compromised a personal database containing information on approximately 525,000 people. The breach, detected on October 20 and publicly disclosed on October 23, exposed names, identity numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses. Investigators have not yet established that the data was published or used for fraud, but it could facilitate targeted scams, including in the cryptocurrency sector.
