HTX settled a UK court case concerning its cryptocurrency promotions following proceedings brought by the Financial Conduct Authority. The commitments entered into with the High Court run until October 2031 and prohibit promotions that breach UK law across websites, apps and social media. The FCA said HTX is no longer active in the UK, with deposits blocked and new customers unable to register. Existing customers holding assets are directed to the platform’s withdrawal guidance. The settlement remains confidential and includes no admission of liability.
