At the GTC Berlin conference, Jensen Huang introduced the DSX POD, a reference design that combines seven liquid-cooled server racks in a standard container. Each unit contains 504 Rubin GPUs and 254 Vera CPUs, along with 17 kilometres of Spectrum-X networking cables, and weighs about 28 metric tons. Nvidia says the system can be connected to existing power and cooling infrastructure in 14 days, compared with up to six months previously, with deliveries expected in early 2027. The company also says dynamic power allocation can reduce electricity consumption by up to 30 % and closed-loop cooling can nearly eliminate cooling water consumption.
