CoinShares Zcash ETP: Euronext Paris suspends then reinstates it on listing day

CoinShares launched the ZCSH on Wednesday, October 28, a euro-denominated product listed on Euronext Paris, fully backed by ZEC and charging 1.50% in annual management fees. Euronext suspended trading at 9:00 a.m. because the central securities depository was not ready to deliver the securities to buyers, before allowing trading to resume at noon. The exchange did not specify the exact cause, which may have involved the ISIN registration or the delivery circuit between depositories. Paris now has two listed products backed by Zcash: CoinShares’ ZCSH, with annual fees of 1.50%, and 21Shares’ product, charging 2.50% and launched in Paris and Amsterdam on September 22. As Zcash marked its tenth anniversary, with its price at around $1,300, the launch was overshadowed by a failure in the settlement and delivery chain.
