Google Cloud generated $24.8 billion in revenue in the second quarter of 2026, up 82% year over year, following 63% growth in the previous quarter. Its operating income more than tripled to $8.8 billion, while its operating margin reached 35.6%. The Gemini app now has 950 million monthly active users, compared with roughly 450 million a year earlier, and nearly 90% of Fortune 100 companies use Gemini Enterprise. Alphabet doubled capital expenditures to $44.9 billion to expand its artificial intelligence infrastructure, even as its backlog of contracted but unrecognized revenue reached $514 billion.
