Arthur Hayes says high-FDV tokens no longer pump on Binance

Arthur Hayes, chief executive of Flop Labs, says token launches with a high fully diluted valuation and a low circulating supply no longer trigger price gains when listed on Binance, as they once did. He accuses venture capital presales of distorting tokenomics by leaving retail investors to absorb sales from early backers. Flop Labs is preparing what it calls a 100% fair launch, with no presales or venture capital allocations and an airdrop reserved for network participants. Approximately 24.3% of the projected year-10 supply, or 4.4 billion of 18.1 billion tokens, would be distributed through the airdrop before the mainnet launch planned for the first quarter of 2027. Hayes also promotes a token tied to the computing needs of artificial intelligence agents, says FLOP will not be tradable until after the airdrop and warns about fraudulent sales of the token before its launch.
