Franklin Templeton plans to launch two exchange-traded funds on Nasdaq that will invest 95% of their assets in US stocks and 5% in Bitcoin. FBEQ will track the VettaFi US Large-Cap 500 Bitcoin DRIP Index, while FIBT will follow the VettaFi US Innovation 100 Bitcoin DRIP Index. These funds will reinvest stock dividends into Bitcoin rather than additional shares and will gain Bitcoin exposure through exchange-traded products, including Franklin Templeton’s spot Bitcoin ETF, EZBC. Bitcoin’s allocation may rise above 5% between rebalances before being reduced to 4.5% each quarter, with a hard cap of 20%, while reported expense ratios start as low as 0.09%.
