Anthropic announced Claude Duet on Wednesday, a research application designed for professionals and small-business owners. It can check emails and calendars, draft replies, follow up on unfinished work and periodically review connected accounts to act without further instructions from the user. Duet enters a market where Meta’s Muse has already attracted more than 10 million users in the United States and Canada, while OpenAI launched Dots on September 29. Anthropic has not yet disclosed Duet’s price after the research preview, and its background checks consume the same usage quota as regular Claude conversations. Team and Enterprise customers will also have to wait for access to the app.
