Chainlink and LG CNS announced a partnership to connect South Korean financial institutions’ digital-asset platforms with verified external data and other blockchain networks. LG CNS will contribute its software integration expertise and financial-sector relationships, while Chainlink will provide its oracle and cross-chain communication solutions. The agreement does not involve the immediate launch of a stablecoin or a nationwide deployment of digital currency infrastructure. It also builds on LG CNS’s involvement in the Bank of Korea’s Project Hangang, which is exploring services related to tokenized assets. Success will nevertheless depend on actual bank adoption, regulatory approvals and the processing of institutional transactions at scale.
